I wanted to thank you and the Piatigorsky Foundation for the wonderful concert this Monday evening at Panorama City. Richard Dowling provided us with a remarkable evening of music. His obvious musical talent was truly appreciated by the many music-lovers in the audience, but his personal charm won them over for life! Richard obviously loves sharing his music. And his audience of 120 listeners loved him for it.
Staff & Board
Founder and Artistic Director Evan Drachman established the Foundation in 1990 in honor of his grandfather, Gregor Piatigorsky. Mr. Drachman (bio) is a professional cellist and a respected authority on the presentation of live classical music for diverse audiences.
A thriving volunteer network makes it possible for the Foundation to present more than 200 performances each season with a small full time staff. The Foundation’s full time administrative staff consists of Concert Coordinator Kathleen Le Blanc.
