The performance by Jack Sanders at the Junction High School auditorium was a great success. Mr. Sanders is a superb artist, the audience was enthralled with his virtuosity. Because of his careful explanation of technique, history of the pieces and his instruments, I found myself listening more carefully and enjoying the music more than I have at any other performance of classical music.
Staff & Board
Founder and Artistic Director Evan Drachman established the Foundation in 1990 in honor of his grandfather, Gregor Piatigorsky. Mr. Drachman (bio) is a professional cellist and a respected authority on the presentation of live classical music for diverse audiences.
A thriving volunteer network makes it possible for the Foundation to present more than 200 performances each season with a small full time staff. The Foundation’s full time administrative staff consists of Concert Coordinator Kathleen Le Blanc.
